About Me

My name is Charlie, and my karting journey began in 2017 when I first drove a kart on holiday in Spain. I loved it! In 2022 and 2023 I competed with my school in the Greenpower championship where we designed and built an electric race car at school and competed at race tracks across the country and I was lucky enough to compete in the international final at Goodwood! I also drove at some indoor karting centres in 2023 and decided to join the all new Daniel Ricciardo Series arrive-and-drive championship for 2024.

Due to my age, I had to quickly transition to Junior owner-karting, and in July 2024 I obtained my ARKS license and raced in the final 2 rounds of the Daniel Ricciardo Series DRS100 in 2024 at GYG and Whilton Mill. In 2025 I am signed up to compete a full season in DRS100 and am really looking forward to the challenges ahead. My Dad used to be a rally driver and he has some close friends who are international professional GT drivers and they are my role models. One day I hope to share a car with them! I aim to remain in the DRS championship for a further 2 years and move towards racing sports cars when I am old enough at 15.
