About Me

Cora is 11 years old and started karting indoors approximately 2 years ago, and got the bug for competition after taking part in her local BIKC finals at the end of 2023.

She moved to outdoor karting in 2024 racing with Club100, Daniel Ricciardo Series and Global Karting League UK.

Cora has been a eace winner this year, along with taking a pole position and narrowly missing out on her first championship win.

She has made the step up from cadet to junior at GKL UK half way through the year and says her favourite race was her first event in juniors, being immediately competitive with far more experienced drivers in bigger and more powerful karts.

Her favourite tracks are Shenington, Whilton Mill and Buckmore Park.

The goal for next year is to complete full seasons in all 3 championships, progressing and improving at each round.

Cora would love to move into car racing at the earliest opportunity, Ginetta Juniors, TOCA Juniors or Fiestas are all series shes interested in for the future.

My Achievements

Cora won the inaugural GKL:UK Rookie Cadet race in 2024, the first female to win a race in the Championship's history and in her second ever outdoor race.

She went on to place 4th overall in the Spring Championship.

A considerable growthspurt led to her moving to GKL:UK Rookie Junior Lights part way through the 'Chapter 2' Championship, placing her 5th overall when drop scores were accounted for.
